The main Aims and Objectives of SEWA are:
To work for the social development of underprivileged individuals, groups and communities in Rajasthan;
To assist in the process of social integration and personal realisation of underprivileged children, women, adults and families;
To endorse the human rights and in particular the rights of the children and young people as well as the rights of underprivileged groups and communities;
To educate people against taking drugs and Alcohol and run various Welfare Centers to promote de-addiction.
To identify Social Evils and eradicate them with local help.
To propagate the need for tree plantation / pollution control and environmental awareness.
Induction of Social Ethics in Youth and boost them for pay back to society.
Promotion of Folk Culture and rural Games.
To arrange land, building and other facilities to establish and running school/college/institution/Library/reading rooms, Art Center and Gymnasium etc.
To conduct study on various social issues from time to time, gather data, and carry out research.
To organise forums, seminars, camps etc for spreading good living habits, moral values, culture, and methods of developing self-confidence etc.
To carry out various schemes for the development of handicraft and to arrange for necessary training and availability of techniques for artisans to make them self-reliant;
To work for uplifting the status of farmers and help them for better live hood.
To work on projects for animal husbandry; animal medical care and animal rights and to implement projects on development of dairy products.
To publish newspaper, magazine, journals and to reproduce works of arts, literature, science, crafts and other allied works/collections of works of arts for instruction and imparting useful knowledge.
To raise funds through collection, donation or subscription to incur expenditure in such manner as shall promote the attainment of our goal.
